Except for the last 3, I've seen all of these and they're wonderful. My favorite funny-but-frightening: the original Dead of Night (1945). Some comic vignettes, but the final finale pulls the rug out from under you--all the moreso because you thought this was just a lark.

More recently:

* Fido

* Dance of the Dead (I'm including this because I was an extra zombie in the shooting--my avatar here is a screenshot from that movie). It's lots of low-budget fun.
