Enjoyed these as always.

Coupla comments:

* Temptations are crack for cats.

* I got into Wilco late because Nels Cline had joined them (got into Nels Cline from Jeff Gauthier Goatette). The track here is a bunch of geniuses all subordinating their egos for the sake of the shared music.

* Stevie Wonder is so embedded in music and vice versa that it's easy to take him for granted, which of course is a mistake.

* I always liked ELO, but somehow I missed the group they came from The Move (who were a cool band according to cool listeners, but somehow I just didn't catch the boat).

* A Day in the Life

* Modest Mouse is one of those bands I should like and that I don't dislike, but never spent the time to explore. That's a great cut.

Today's recommendation: the transcendent "Slipped Away" from the Nels Cline Singers: https://youtu.be/O8WYdN6qgJA
