Enjoyed the reminiscences thoroughly (as always). A little known fact about me: I almost landed a gig playing at the 40 Watt Club. Someone I worked with in the UGa library (who played guitar) knew someone at the club, and the husband of someone else at the library played bass. I had a cheap thrift store organ (not even a Farfisa). Our trio jammed for a while with the goal of a play date, but never got that far.

I could have been a contender (if I had been an actual musician).
