Cool story about the DJ, and fascinating distinctions throughout. I've kept alive my curiosity for new music by discovering a movement (Scandinavian Indie Pop) that harkens back to the music of my youth (the 60's).

I do go back and learn about music I missed (e.g. Joy Division), but I'm still pretty much moored in my past.

Speaking of dinosaurs: https://youtu.be/gdrbbKe-m8U

A few more (I'm preaching here):

From Denmark: https://youtu.be/YJuU8f3mV_k

Simple, infectious pop: https://youtu.be/Y3Tsap-FZek

Imo, the smartest singer / writer today: https://youtu.be/NnvDEgr3dBY

And the most emotional (the world's saddest breakup song?): https://youtu.be/cq5DKVwwFqY

Just a taste of the breadth and depth of today's music that captures the strengths of the past.

Thank you for evoking this quest.
