Charley Daniels Band (the backup group for Harvey Mandel, who was just fine). An utterly abominable version of "Orange Blossom Express," which is a pretty crappy song to start with. Compared to that, everybody else has been pretty good (except Al Kooper at the Atlanta Pop Festival).
I saw John Fahey live in a tiny venue. He was probably drunk and mumbled about the void and various blues players whom he admired. But the man was an eternal genius. If he had played "Mary Had a Little Lamb," it would have been memorable.
