At this point in my Medium development / identity, I can only effectuate #2 (link to previous posts), but your other strategies are probably more powerful in the long run. So thank you for all these suggestions.

Linking to (relevant) previous posts is a no-brainer. All it requires is setting up a theme / identity for some of your posts.

Here’s another strategy (I’m pretty much a novice, so take this with a grain of salt): When I comment on a post about XYZ, Medium will on occasion append a curated article I’ve previously written about XYZ. If this is a policy or trend, then it behooves us to read and make intelligent, worthwhile comments on other related stories. And that’s a good thing to do, regardless of whether or not it increases our Medium financial / followership benefits.
