As I understand the wheel, the inner circle are primary emotions, the middle circle are secondary (derivatives of the innermost circle), and the outer circle are tertiary. And I know there are many ways to schematize emotions.

But while Happy, Sad, Disgusted, Angry, Fearful, and Surprised are usually considered emotions by psychologists and neuroscientists, “Bad” (the inner green wedge) is not an emotion. It might be considered a feeling or a label for a feeling. Calling “Bad” an emotion just doesn’t sit right with me.
