Another disadvantage of attending a concert with a non-fan: at some point, the non-fan will want to leave early. Either way, you (the fan) will lose, and the non-fan won't be very happy, whether you capitulate or not.

I grew up with the Beatles. They're pretty good, with some really great songs, but as a phenomenon, I think they are overrated. The Kinks, on the other hand, are underrated.
