A commenter on a recent Rate-a-Record comparison of three songs by Glen Campbell suggested that there should be more challenges for Brit Pop, including “Oasis, if you must.”
As a fan of Brit pop from the 60’s, I’m biased in my judgment that Oasis has achieved the zenith of impostorship, so my challenge here will reflect my cynicism. But hey, there’s no disputing taste, as someone once said in Latin.
