Aha! I thought you were an anti-politician (which is the only way I could make sense of Trump / Yang).

I’ll look at that youtube video later if I have time (45 minutes!).

But here’s my take, and you’re welcome dismiss it or argue back. I think Trump is as much a politician as they come. He’s very good at persuading people. He’s more concerned with power than Obama or the Clintons (which is why he dislikes them so much; they’re rivals, not opponents). Yang and Marianne Williamson (from what I can tell) are not politicians (but if we elect them, they will be), and all the rest of the Democrat and Republican leaders (including Sanders, who technically is an independent) are. I don’t think you can escape politicians, unless you live on a remote island. Our job is to elect the best (or least bad) of them. If you overthrow the system, you’re going to have a lot of (really bad) politicians running things. Happened in France in 1789, in Russia in 1917, could happen here. I’m voting for a politician in 2020.

My favorite candidate as a real person who might get elected: Elizabeth Warren. I think she has a good heart (that matters more to me than her considerable intelligence and her progressive stance). Sanders is too much of an intellectual.

Here’s my video for you: https://youtu.be/CjJLTslWp_Q
