$134 would buy 268 albums from my two favorite local thrift stores (1,340 from one of them until they raised their prices from ten cents to fifty cents). Of course it would take 50 years to find that many worthwhile albums from either one.

Your choices sound great. If you're going for the Easy Rider vibe at some point, keep an eye out for The Holy Modal Rounders (especially "The Moray Eels Eat the Holy Modal Rounders"--original vinyl pressing on Discogs in VG+ for $15, which is a STEAL; buy it now!).
